With Summer creeping up very fast, it would only be appropriate to write a blog post on my Summer essentials! You can’t enter the Summer months without using a good gradual tanner!
My Summer essentials are the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tan Lotion and the Bondi Sands Everyday Face Lotion.
Bondi Sands is an Australian brand that specialises in all things tan!
I thought it was about time I made this blog post, as I have used this product for about a month now, so I can give my honest thoughts on these products.
I’ve never used instant fake tan in my life, and I’ve always stuck with using gradual tanner to get a bit of colour. However, I’ve never used a gradual tanner for more than a week, as they start making me look like a tangerine, rather than the look of skin after it has caught the sun. Also, many gradual tanners leave a horrible fake tan smell when it’s developing and it really puts me off using them.
So, what was my verdict on the products by Bondi Sands?…
Was the product easy to use?
Yes, the product was extremely easy to use. The beauty of gradual tanners is that you don’t need tanning mitts and you don’t have to exfoliate every time just to get an even coverage (although exfoliating may help if you do have dry and flaky skin).
What did you like about the product?
I love the fact that this product doesn’t leave that horrible fake tan smell. It smells of a pleasant cocoa butter scent and you even forget that you’re wearing gradual tanner! I have used the product almost every day for a month after having a shower, and I have developed a lovely, natural-looking tan. It doesn’t look orange in the slightest, and I even get asked if I’ve just come back from a holiday. The longevity of the tan is definitely a massive pro to this product. When using other gradual tanning products, they washed off after about 2 washes, whereas, I didn’t reapply the gradual tan for 3 days and had a shower everyday and the tan didn’t fade that much.
Is the product worth the money you pay for it?
The products are more expensive than other high street gradual tanners. The Everyday Tanning Milk for the body and the face are both £11.99. However, they are much better quality for what you’re paying and it is honestly one of the best, if not only the best, gradual tanners that I have ever used. So, what you pay is what you get with this product.
Would you recommend these products to other people?
I would highly recommend the Bondi Sands Everyday range! It is honestly a fantastic range for those who don’t want to use or are scared to use instant fake tanner. If you have the patience to build up a tan, then this product is definitely for you!
