Repairing Brittle & Broken Nails – Nails In State of Disrepair? Try Micro Cell!

Are your nails brittle, broken or soft? Micro Cell may be your solution!

I am always seeking new nail-care brands; especially those that can repair my nails at the same time as me applying colour to them! I have found recently that following have gel nails, my nails become very brittle and soft, and become susceptible to breaking. Then, I came across Micro Cell.

Micro Cell are a brand that specially formulate their products, so that you can still add a pop of colour to your nails while the formula helps to repair your nails. They’re a brand that are very well-known across Germany and I am here to spread the news about what the hype is all about!

How does Microcell help to fix your nails?

Nail Repair

The kit has the Nail Repair solution, which helps to fix your brittle nails within 2-weeks. To start the treatment, you are supposed to paint one layer of the Nail Repair, and then remove it after 2-days.

On the third day, you take off the Nail Repair using the Nail Remover Repair included in the kit. Then, reapply the Nail Repair.

Nail Repair should be used as a base coat on a weekly basis for 2-3 weeks, until your nails are in a healthier state.

You can see the progress of my nails below and the Nail Repair has made the world of difference to the health of my nails:

The Nail Repair looks like a more cloudier solution, just so people don’t get confused between the Nail Repair, which is a base coat, and the Nail Wonder, which is a top coat.

Colour & Repair in Raspberry Kiss

The Raspberry Kiss Colour & Repair is a quick-drying nail varnish, that strengthens the nail with its enriched repairing formula. I mean who doesn’t like a quick-drying nail varnish? This nail varnish goes on top of the Nail Repair.

The formula contains silicon, green algae extract, calcium and diamond-gloss. The silicon helps to smooth out the nail-varnish and prevent it from chipping.

The green algae is a non-toxic, naturally-occurring microorganism, which contains a lot of nutrients that stimulate keratin production. Keratin is what your nails are primarily made of, so by stimulating such production, you get stronger and longer nails!

Calcium helps to strengthen the nails, as calcium is the main reason why your bones are stronger, as it acts as a natural hardener, so it will do the same for your nails.

Diamond-gloss will give your nails a lovely shine, that makes it look like you’ve been for a salon treatment.

This nail varnish when used in unison with Nail Repair base coat and Nail Wonder top coat, was a very long-lasting nail varnish! It lasted me about a week before it started chipping, which is very impressive as I work in a job that requires me to open lots of medicine boxes, tearing plastic open with my nails, typing on the computer and writing, so my hands get a lot of exposure to the environment.

Nail Wonder

The Nail Wonder is a 5-in-1, quick-drying top coat, that acts as a: colour refresher; smoothing filler; protection against chipping and peeling; protects against harsh chemicals in the environment and dehydration.  You normally use this product after using the Colour and Repair.

Using a top coat is always important, as it helps to seal and protect the nail varnish from chipping.

The Nail Wonder did a fantastic job on keeping my nail varnish in tact and it smoothed out my nail varnish, so it looked like I had them painted professionally.

Nail Repair Remover

Then Nail Repair Remover is an acetone-free nail varnish remover. It works in harmony with the Nail Repair and won’t hinder the repairing process of your nails.

Other nail varnish removers on the market tend to dry out your nails and causes them to weaken. So, this nail polish remover is like a gift sent from heaven!

The only very slight issue I have with this product is that you have to go through quite a few cotton buds, as the colour takes a while to come off. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as it means the product is very adherent!

My nails aren’t too brittle but it’s still amazing to hear how the brand has created so many products in their range, they all sound really nice and seem to be packed with so many good ingredients xx

My nails are only brittle after nail treatments, but their products are great even on normal nails just to add some extra strength and protection! Yes I agree! The ingredients are so different to other ingredients that you’d find in common nail polish! Thank you so much for reading and leaving a comment!xx
