I’m back in Manchester again, for yet…MORE FOOD! Think I need to move to the city, because I’m pretty much here more times than I am back home. This time, I visited the COSMO World Buffet Restaurant, which is set in the heart of Manchester, in Deansgate.
What’s On The Menu?
Admittedly, I have only been to a handful of buffet restaurants in my time, but I haven’t been impressed by any of them. HOWEVER, COSMO is an exception! The wide selection of fresh food from various cuisines, had me stumped on what I felt like eating. There were Italian, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, and even your traditional British foods on the menu, and you don’t even know where to begin. If you’re a fussy eater, don’t worry! There’s guaranteed to be something that suits your tastebuds. From sweet to savoury, to spicy to mild, they have everything covered.
What Were The Best Bits About The Restaurant?
So, first impressions…it is one of the most INSTAGRAMMABLE restaurants! The COSMO in Manchester has only been open since December 2017, and was part of a £1m construction. The decor is of a contemporary taste, and has a very relaxing feel to it. The staff were extremely attentive and knowledgable, and kept the restaurant running as efficiently as possible. The restaurant also features Teppanyaki show-cooking, and the talent of the head chef is unbelievable!
For those who also have allergens to certain foods, don’t worry! There is a little plaque in front of each of the dishes to let you know the allergens that the food may contain.
For the chocolate-loving fans, there’s an amazing chocolate fountain, where you can dip fruits, marshmallows, and sweets in two sorts of chocolate. There was milk or white chocolate, so there is something for everyone. If you also have a sweet-tooth, you’re also in luck! They had the most fantastic array of various desserts to pick from. There’s a freezer with a variety of different ice-cream flavours; an ice-cream dispenser for those who wish to create the perfect ice-cream cone; many different cake flavours; a popcorn maker for those who fancy something savoury, and an assortment of jellies, fruit and mousses. Are you tempted yet?!
Everyone Always Wants To Know…What Are The Prices Like?
If you’re planning to have lunch here, prices start from £8.50, with kids eating for half price if they’re under 150cm! However, if you would like to have dinner here, prices begin at £14.99. For accurate pricing on different days of the week, and different times of day, please check out their website.
The price is great value for the amount of food you can select from. You can have starters and mains from different cuisines, and let’s face it…there’s always room for dessert!
